I was talking to my friend Faith last night and we happened upon the subject of my hair. I was rather disturbed to find out that, though I have managed to grow my hair out and avoid the mullet, I am instead taking on that heavy-metal headbanger look. That’s not exactly what I’m gonig for.

The song was almost right. I’ve got the whole world in one hand.
Today brought a mixture of good news and bad. I found out that my cousin Jana is getting married, and also that my step-dad was downsized. As to former, it’s about time. As to the latter, a big ol’ Texas THANK YOU to (current White House) Resident Dubya for concentrating his efforts on Iraq’s supposed potential threat to the U.S. and doing his least to instill public confidence in the free market.
In case you missed <a href=""http://www.metaphysx.com/mod.php?do=load&name=home&file=viewentry&eid=51"">Part I.
Meanwhile, in the principal’s office.
""Are you sure we can get away with this, Mr. Jenkins?"" asked Miss Tuesday, the boys’ somewhat cute, but quite overweight guidance counselor. ""Isn’t this somehow a violation of their Constitutional rights to free speech? We’re going to have the ACLU breathing down our necks!""
""Miss Tuesday,"" the principle sighed. ""Must I again remind you that the United States was founded by ultra-right-wing, God-fearing Baptists? Words are missing from the Bill of Rights because, as Baptists, phrases such as ‘God’s law’, ‘basic human decency’, ‘what would Jesus do?’ and ‘rap music is the Devil!’ were redundant, because they were just ‘understood’. …

As a birthday gift to myself, I upgraded my beloved steed. I replaced the stock air cleaner with a KuryAkyn HyperCharger. Check the "m2 cyclone" section from the menu over on the left to see details. I also made a "funky" little video of it. You need your speakers turned up to get the full effect… and to see why it’s "funky".
If you’ve ever wondered why bad things, like tornados, seem to randomly ruin the lives of innocent people, pay attention. I’m about to tell you.
Normally, the Creator and I have an understanding. There are the big things such as things always work out in my favor and I always get what I want. And then there are the little things like the fact that it stops raining when I have no choice but to go outside, I always have just enough gas to get to the next station and I always find the solution to every problem I set out to solve. All of those rules apply every day of the year except one… my birthday.

Yes, I’m officially almost old. Maybe later I’ll post some birthday reflections, but for now, enjoy the party. …
Fifty-five flies on the far wall.
Fourteen fireman forgot them all.
Five unfriendly frogs "forgot" to call.
Feet, sometimes, can be too small.
Rockets and planes and missiles and lint
Parents and teachers, the principal… shit.
Happy hour, sweet ‘n sour,
The dog sounds tough, but in fact he’s a coward.
Love and hate, free will or fate?
Make friends with a whore or masturbate?
Coffee, cigarettes, dirty magazines
Dreams gone south, save your imagining

Duane Hoover is a character from Vonnegut’s book, Breakfast of Champions. He’s already going nuts due to bad chemicals, but then gets hold of a book written by another character entitled And Now It Can Be Told. The latter fictional book explains to the reader, which in this case is Hoover, that he is the only being on Earth with free will. All others are robots programmed to do the things they do. All of this is sort of an experiment designed by the Creator. The Creator sits above watching and making note of the reader’s (Hoover’s) reactions to various situations, so that later, when he goes about creating the ‘real world’, he’ll have a better idea of how humans think and act, and can make changes here and there to the original design to make things better.

I couldn’t resist. You can find these posters at the Ministry of Homeland Security Photo Gallery. It’s so close to the truth it’s scary….
Well, here we are. One year after bin Laden’s cronies crashed 3 planes; two of them into the World Trade Center, killing thousands. What have we to show for it?
Yes, the ""9/11 tragedy"" is a horrible thing to have happened, but the lives lost on 9/11 are, I hate to say, the least tragic outcome. Since last September, the country has been in a state of paranoia, the likes of which we haven’t seen since WWII. Unjustified prejudice and racial profiling run rampant and the rights and freedoms of every American are being taken away little by little. And all the while, the media is brainwashing us into thinking it’s ok… that it’s necessary, and we should be willing to sacrifice those freedoms in the name of nationalism and patriotism.
I’m afraid I cannot comment on CNN’s or other netw…
