I’m not much of an internet chat person anymore… not like I used to be anyway. Sometimes I just join a room then go watch a movie or work on one of my projects, occassionally popping up in the room to spout off some absurdity or something really offensive just to stir things up. Of course, I’ve already gone back to what I was doing by the time the ‘kiddies’ start cursing at me. What fun!
But tonight this chick came into the room. I wouldn’t say I was flirting, but my behavior, in more than one possible universe, could probably be construed as such. Later, after finding out her age and where she was from, though she denies it, I think I was ‘not flirting’ with my ex-wife.
Talk about your heebie jeebies….

What can I say that hasn’t been said before? I read today about the OSU commencement and the <a href=""http://www.turnyourbackonbush.com/"" target=""new"">TYBOB (""Turn Your Back on Bush"") campaign. My titles are getting less and less creative.
What a fun night. My family came to visit (my mom, dad, brother sister, grandfather and 2 nephews). We all went out to eat. It was a good time.
Sometimes I wonder why I keep up this website. Then I look around and am reminded. I started browsing through the photo gallery at pictures of old friends and places I’ve been. I’ve thought about removing pictures of some people that I’ve completely lost touch with. Maybe I’ll make a seperate section just for them.
With the new job (I say new, even though I’ve been there close to a year now) I haven’t been able to travel since my CO trip last fall. Before I left my previous job I was really sick of it, and it’s been nice being home and not have to worry about a dog-sitter. Nowadays though I…

Greetings. Because as time passes the links disappear and things just get muddled, I’ve created a dedicated ""films"" area where I’ve posted my movies. And, to clean things up a bit, I’ve moved or removed some of the files, so the links in previous entries may not work anymore.
You’ll also see that I’ve recompressed the films, all using DivX 5. Everything should work a little better now….
I’ve been researching it for a while now, learning some terminology and what it’s all about. I think I’m drawn to it for the mental and spiritual aspects more than anything. You know… the way of the bushido, the Tao… oh, and did I mention we get to fight with swords?
So, tonight I went to my first <a href=""http://www.kendo-usa.org/"" target=""_new"">kendo <a href=""http://php.indiana.edu/~kendo/"" target=""_new"">practice. It just happened that tonight they were giving a demonstration to the <a href=""http://www.indiana.edu/~aikido/"" target=""_new"">Aikido Club, so I got to see more than I normally would have at a normal practice. Doing a little more with the ""twin"" thing to see how fancy I can get and still look realistic. I’m using a combination of mattes and split-screening to give a sort of ‘green screen’ effect. It works, but there’s one point in this video where you can see ""evil Chad’s"" foot disappear. I couldn’t find a way around it.
