A friend at work put together <a href=""http://www.inkypool.com"">his own Blog and, not to be outdone, here is mine. This might turn out to be somewhat entertaining.
So let’s start this little chronicle by mentioning the girl in the green jacket (GITGJ). GITGJ, if pronounced, would sound something like ""Gidge"", so that’s how she’ll be known from now on. Gidge rides the same bus I do. Living in a college town, riding the bus has certain advantages above being good for the environment and cheaper & safer than driving. There also happen to be a plethora of young college-girls in need of transportaion to/from class. Lucky me!

As we approach yet another Easter Sunday, we once again look forward to little girls wearing their Easter bonnets, coloring Easter-eggs and the subsequent hunts, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and for most Christians, the one day of the year they actually go to church. Hence it’s most appropriate to remind those who intend to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, that Easter is, in fact, another pilfered holiday the early Christians stole from the Pagans. It is an historical fact that death and resurrection themes were celebrated during the Spring equinox long before the Christian resurrection myth. Rather than regurgitate the details, I shall point you to ReligiousTolerance.org’s Easter Page for more information about this holiday and its true history. Happy Easter, everybody!
I had a dream last night. I dreamt I was a slab… a delictible slice… of Spam™ on a white, Corning plate, oozing with the gelatinous slime unique to that canned conglomeration of meat by-products.
Then I woke up. I took a sip from a steamy cup of fresh, black coffee. I opened a new pack of cigarettes and ran one under my nose. Oh, how I enjoy the smell of the fresh tobacco. I put one to my lips.
Then I woke up… again. Disappointed, I went to the kitchen and turned on the coffee maker to reheat the pot I had not quite finished drinking the night previous. I scrounged through each of the four ashtrays overflowing with butts to find one suitable for at least a single drag.
